摘　　要：英语学术书籍短评(English Academic Book Blurb)不同于书评(Book Review),它在书籍推销中发挥重要作用,但在国内应用较少。本文选取30篇英语语言学方面的学术书籍短评,基于评价理论对英语学术书籍短评的态度、介入和级差资源进行分析,分析这些资源在书籍短评中的分布规律和人际功能,为书籍短评阅读和写作提供借鉴。The English academic book blurb is different from book review. It plays an increasingly important role in book promotion, but it is rarely applied in China. In this study, 30 samples of academic book blurbs are randomly selected from some English linguistic books. Based on the Appraisal System, we analyze the attitude, engagement and graduation in the English academic book blurbs, and then examine their distribution features and interpersonal function in these book blurbs. The results thus obtained can supply some help for the readers and writers of book blurbs.
