摘  要:Dear Editor, Bacteria are able to communicate with each other through small, diffusible molecules. In some species, this type of communication has been linked to virulence. Therefore, bacterial cell-cell communication pathways have recently been put forward as promising targets for new anti-microbial therapeutics [1]. Several different communication systems have been identified in bacteria, both for intraspecies and for interspecies communication.
