Discussion on How to Catalogue the Books Published in China Partly or Entirely in Foreign Language

摘　　要：简要分析了目前国内出版的正文含有外文或正文为外文的图书的特点,得出此类出版物有5种类型(类型1为中外文对照读物以及外文语言类读物;类型2为语言类字典词典;类型3为中、外文非语言类图书;类型4为全外文非语言类图书;类型5为授权影印版图书),根据它们的出版原因、目的及读者使用情况,提出将1、2、3类图书按中文图书著录并入库,将4、5类图书按外文图书著录并入库的处理方法。This paper analyzes the characteristics of the books published currently in China partly or entirely in foreign Language,and summarizes five types of this publications,in which the type 1 is the Chinese-foreign language reading materials and foreign language reading materials,the type2 is the verbal dictionary and lexicon,the type3 is non-verbal books in Chinese and foreign language,the type4 is the non-verbal books in foreign language,the type5 is the authorized photo-offset books,and according to the publication reasons,publication purposes and the usage of reader,points out that the type1,type2 and type3 are considered to catalogue and to be put in storage as the Chinese books,and the type4 and type5 are considered to catalogue and to be put in storage as foreign language books.
