摘　　要：应用SPOT-5卫星遥感资料,对中国海岛海岸带区域1:5万基础地理数据中的交通运输线、水系、居民地面和海岸线四类要素进行了更新研究和实践工作,详细编制了更新的工作流程、作业方法、技术要点、质量控制和检查验收的内容与流程,使数据的现势性达到了2004～2006年,为中国近海海洋规划和工程项目实施提供了现势性强的基础资料,也为基础地理数据的更新工作进行了有益的实践,积累了工作经验。Using SPOT-5 satellite remote sensing data,in the Chinese islands and coastal regions 1：50,000 fundamental geographic data,of communications and transport lines,water system,residents on the ground and the coastline have been updated.We wrote the updated work process,operational methods,technical issues,the content and processes of quality control inspection,so that the current trend of the data has reached 2005～2006.It provides basic geographic data for Chinese offshore marine planning and project implementation;moreover,it is a useful practice for the basic geographic data＇s updating work.
