摘　　要：WiMAX是以IEEE802.16系列协议为基础的宽带无线接入技术,已逐渐成为城域宽带无线技术的新的发展热点。它可以替代现有的DSL和有线连接方式,提供固定、移动形式的无线宽带连接。鉴于其建设成本低、技术性能高、可靠性强,利用其优越的传播特性,设计一款基于Intel WiMAX Connection 2250双模基带芯片的VOIP终端,来推进无线VOIP语音通信的发展。WiMAX is a series of agreements IEEE802.16-based broadband wireless access technology,has become the new hot spots of development on the metro broadband wireless technologies.It can replace the existing DSL and cable connections to provide fixed,mobile forms of wireless broadband connectivity.In view of its low capital cost,technical performance,reliability,and to use its superior propagation characteristics,we made a design based on the Intel WiMAX Connection 2250 baseband chip dual-mode terminal of VOIP,to promote the development of voice communications about wireless VOIP.
