摘 要:本文旨在使用社会语言学的变项规则分析法,探讨中国英语学习者中介语韵尾辅音丛中的(-t,d)删除现象,并分析了可能影响(-t,d)删除的制约因素。研究结果显示,前接、后续音素、形态特征、音节长度对(-t,d)删除具有显著的制约作用;性别和音节重音对(-t,d)删除没有影响。研究结果还发现,动词过去时标记的语法变项规则和(-t,d)删除的语音变项规则的趋同作用会产生累加效应,结果导致规则动词过去式(-t,d)删除的频率高于单语素词。然而,这两类词中影响(-t,d)删除的语音因素的作用值以及制约等级基本是一致稳定的,这从而证明了中介语变异的系统性。By using sociolinguistic variable rule analysis,this study attempts to examine the variation of (-t,d) deletion in EFL interlanguage and pinpoint the factors that could potentially affect the deletion.Research manifests that preceding and following segments,morphological features and syllable size significantly influence (-t,d) deletion,whereas sex and syllable stress are non-influential on (-t,d) deletion.The result also shows that the convergence of a variable phonological process and variable tense marking results in a greater likelihood of (-t,d) deletion from regular past tense forms than from monomorphemes.However,the ordering,as well as relative values of the factor weights remains stable and constant,thus offering empirical evidence of the systematic nature of interlanguage variation.
