摘　　要：IN June 1992 the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development convened in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil,where it officially adopted the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC).It is the most important international convention relating to environmental protection,and its significance will become increasingly apparent in the decades to come.In the meteorological field,as in its political and economic dimensions,this UN international convention has unprecedented significance.
