摘　　要：环境陶艺是公共艺术的一种表现方式,它以独特的材质特性和艺术语言表达着人类的丰富情感。环境陶艺融入唐山城市公共环境艺术空间,具有双重的意义。一方面:环境陶艺的现代艺术创新观念与唐山现代化的公共环境艺术规划思路不谋而合;另一方面:环境陶艺的材质特性和艺术语言是对唐山的历史文脉、陶瓷文化最亲近的艺术表达方式。Environmental ceramics is an expression of public art,It is a unique material characteristics and artistic language to express the wealth of human emotions.Environmental ceramics into the public environment in Tangshan city art space,has a double significance.On the one hand：the innovation in the concept of modern art of the environmental ceramics is coincidence with Tangshan modern environmental and public art planning ideas;on the other hand,the material characteristics of environmental ceramics and the artistic language,it is closest artistic expression about the history Context and ceramic culture of Tangshan.
