3-D Non-isothermal Numerical Simulation of the Effect of Temperature Mixing in Mixing Screw Head of Co-Rotating Twin-screw Extruder

摘  要:应用Polyflow软件对同向双螺杆挤出机标准型、偏心锥形和混合型3种螺杆头流道内物料的流动过程进行了三维非等温数值模拟,并引入流道出口截面平均温度和温度方差量化分析对比3种螺杆头的均温性能。通过FEM与正交试验设计相结合的方法,分析了不同几何参数对混合型螺杆头均温效果的影响,得出最优的混合型螺杆头几何参数因素水平组合。3-D non-isothermal flows in three kinds of screw heads of co-rotating twin-screw extruder were simulated by using the finite element package Polyflow. Average temperature and temperature variance of output section were introduced to quantitatively evaluate the effects of temperature mixing of three types of screw heads. Combined FEM and orthogonal experiment design, the effects of different geometric parameters on temperature mixing in mixing screw head were analyzed, and the optimal geometry parameters combination of mixing screw head was obtained.
