摘　　要：提出一种基于离散小波变换的可伸缩多描述视频编码方法,以降低视频在网络传输中由于丢包而导致视频质量严重下降的风险,提高了视频在网络传输过程中的鲁棒性.将小波变换后的小波系数按照奇偶行构造成两个描述,当解码端收到任何一个描述时,通过加权对丢失信号进行估计.实验表明,该方法比通过平均值估计丢失信号的方法的平均PSNR提高约0.6 dB.This paper presents a scalable multiple descriptions coding scheme based on discrete wavelet transform（DWT）,which could reduce the risk of getting lower reconstruction video quality due to missing packet and improve adaptation to network.Two descriptions will be constructed according to the position of wavelet coefficients obtained by DWT.As one of the two descriptions is received by the decoder,the other description could be estimated by weighted average algorithm.The simulation results demonstrate,the proposed method provides performance gain of 0.6 dB when compared to the method based on arithmetic average.
