摘　　要：许多大学图书馆根据自身实际,结合地方经济和科学技术水平,选取与学校优势学科专业相关的行业建立起地方特色数据库,以改善和丰富图书馆的电子资源.本文以深圳职业技术学院图书馆开发的《深圳高新技术企业数据库》为例,介绍其产生的背景、信息的收集原则、设计技巧、内容的制作及数据库系统结构,阐述了该数据库的应用前景,让读者能全面了解该数据库的内容和作用.With rapid growth of economy and technology, and resources available taken into consideration, college libraries are making great efforts to set up digital libraries highlighting those cutting-edge programs of their colleges to improve and enrich digital resources in libraries. Taking New ＆ Hi-Tech Enterprises Database developed by Shenzhen Polytechnic as an example, this paper discussed background, principles for information collection, design skills, content and structure of the database. Besides, the application prospects of the database are elaborated to give a general picture of the contents and functions of the database.
