摘　　要：作为新加坡的水管理局,新加坡公用事业局(Public Utilities Board,PUB)高度重视水需求管理的重要性。公用事业局在管理水需求时采用双管齐下的方法:一方面通过落实节水措施控制用水消耗,另一方面通过对水源与用户之间输水和配水系统的高效管理尽力减少水损失。PUB,the national water authority of Singapore,puts great emphasis on the importance of water demand management.PUB manages their water demand in two ways,by implementing water con-servation measures to keep potable water consumption and adopting the efficient management of the transmission and distribution system from water source to the customer tap which consequently minimizes the water loss.
