摘　　要：数据压缩是一种编码数据的过程,它的目的是使数据的存储空间或传输时间最小化。OBEX协议是为交换复杂数据而指定的一种简单、高效的二进制协议。本文介绍了在J2ME平台上对OBEX协议的一种扩展,这种扩展建立在数据压缩和加密的基础上,它可以减少数据传输时间并保证安全。Data compression is the process of encoding data so that its storage space or transmission time is minimized.The OBEX protocol is a compact binary protocol for exchanging complex data in a simple,efficient manner.This paper introduces a new extension of OBEX protocol in Java 2 Platform Micro Edition（J2ME）.The extension makes use of compression and encryption in order to minimize the transmission time respectively and to establish secure channels.
