摘　　要：通过对国内外城市边缘区发展状况的研究,运用SWOT方法对兰州市城市边缘区的发展进行了优势与劣势分析,并提出了相应的发展策略与可行性建议,通过对新城镇的规划构思,旨在建设一个交通便捷、设施完善、居住舒适的现代化小城镇。Through study on the development status of urban fringe at home and abroad,the advantages and disadvantages about development of urban fringe in Lanzhou were analyzed by using SWOT method,and corresponding strategies were put forward.Through planning on Xincheng,the aim was to construct a modern small town with convenient traffic,perfect facilities,and comfortable environment.
