摘 要:提出了一种植物花瓣形态建模的新方法,可以简单易行地模拟较高真实感的花瓣。该方法以两个光滑连接的半椭圆组成的平面为花瓣初始轮廓模型,选取半椭圆上对称点所构成线段的等分点为采样点,沿平面法向量方向调整采样点的位置得到花瓣轮廓,按点填充完成花瓣形态建模。法向量调整方式有点状、线状和点线混合三种。实验结果表明,新方法能模拟有凹凸表面的不同植物花瓣。This paper proposed a new method for modeling plant petal,it was easy to use this method for rendering realistic plant petal.The initial surface of the model was a surface containing two different semiellipse surfaces which link up smoothly with each other.Selected the equal-division points between two symmetrical points on the semiellipse as sample points,and moved them along normal vector in accordance with different rules such as point rule,line rule and mixed rule.Then formed sample points compose petal outline by filling in which plant petal.Moved the point rule was that one point first and the positions of the rest points was based on the first point's position while the line rule was that several collinear points were moved first and the positions of the rest points were based on the these points'positions.The mixed rule was a combination of the point rule and the line rule.The paradigms indicate that the new method can be used to model various plant petals with undulating surfaces.
