摘　　要：互文指的是前人或同代人发表的文章的一部分被后来的作者模仿或在后来的文中被借用。小说《河湾》文本的魅力植根于文本的互文性中。小说广泛引用《刚果新国王》、《黑暗的心》、《一九八四》、《埃涅阿斯记》和《罗摩衍那》的情节和语言。《河湾》中的互文性是V.S.奈保尔刻画人物、展现主题的重要手段。Intertextuality refers to the fact that part of an article written by contemporaries or predecessors are imitated or borrowed in articles written by later writers. The text fascination of A Bend in the River melts into intextuality. The novel cites extensively plots and languages form such texts as A New King for the Congo, Heart of Darkness, Nineteen Eighty-four, Aeneid and Ramayana. Intertextuality in A Bend in the River serves as Naipaul＇ s important approach to portray its characters and to expound the theme.
