The Communist International and the Anti-Trotskyite Campaign in China During the War against Japanese Aggression

摘　　要：抗战时期,在民族危机日益严重的情况下,中国共产党曾先后两次打算调整对中国托派的政策。但是由于受到苏联"肃托"斗争的影响,在共产国际的指示和干预下,中共对中国托派政策的调整被打断。中共在"反托"运动中出现的失误,共产国际应负主要责任,带着斯大林和共产国际指示回国的王明、康生负直接的责任。随着苏联"肃托"的升级,共产国际曾多次强调斗争范围要从外部转到内部。但是,对于共产国际的"反托"斗争指示,中共并没有机械地执行,而是力图把"反托"的目标主要对外,对准制造反共磨擦的顽固派分子。尽管在"反托"斗争中党内也出现了一些冤、假、错案,但只是发生在局部地区和个别人,没有发生像苏联那样大规模的清洗托派的情况。During the War against Japanese Aggression War, under the conditions of an increasingly critical national crisis the Chinese Communist Party planned for two times to adjust its policy towards the Chinese Trotskyites. However, under the influence of the struggle of eliminating Trotskyites in the Soviet Union and swayed by the instructions and intervention from the Communist International, the CPC stopped its adjustments. For the errors in the CPC＇ s anti-Trotskyite campaign the Comintern should bear the primary responsibility while Wang Ming and Kang Sheng, who came back to China with instructions from Stalin and the Communist International, should bear direct responsibility. With the escalation of the struggle of eliminating Trotskyites in the Soviet Union, the Com- munist International stressed once again the focus of the struggle should switch from outside the Party to inside the Party. However, the CPC did not mechanically carry out the instructions from the Comintern about the anti-Trot- skyite struggle and tried its best to focus the attack on the elements outside the Party and aim the target at the diehards who were creating anti-Communist frictions. Although there occurred some cases involving unjust, false and wrong eases within the Party in the anti Trotskyite struggle they were limited to local areas and to a small number of individuals, and there was no large-scale purge as in the Soviet Union.
