摘　　要：以Larry A.Samovar和Richard E.Porter有关跨文化交际的理论为依据,采用定量分析的方法对北京服装学院英语专业和非英语专业大学生的跨文化非语言交际能力进行测评与对比研究。结果表明,两组被试的语言交际能力都好于非语言交际能力;英语专业学生的非语言交际能力要大大好于非英语专业学生。This paper is grounded on the theory of intercultural communication of Larry A.Samovar and Richard E.Porter.A survey is designed to probe the intercultural communication competence of 62 students from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.With the English and non-English majors as the subjects for the research,quantitative analysis is conducted against the intercultural nonverbal communication competence of the above two groups.The survey indicates that the subjects＇ verbal competence is better developed than their nonverbal competence;English majors are much better than non-English majors in terms of nonverbal competence.
