摘　　要：大国之间的经济博弈必然对生存在大国中间的小国、弱国产生影响。1932年渥太华会议前后英美在加拿大展开了激烈的经济争夺。英国利用渥太华协定来框定加拿大以便加强和巩固帝国经济,扭转经济颓势;而美国也积极拉拢加拿大来渗透进而瓦解英国的"经济堡垒",获取本国经济发展空间;加拿大面对英美的争夺,则采取有效措施,游刃于英美之间,谋取本国利益。The games and economic behaviors of the super powers have definitely an effect on those small and weak countries,of which the British and American games and economic behaviors in Canada before and after 1932 Ottawa Conference can be served as a good example. British government wants to make use of the Ottawa Agree-ment to put limitations on Canada in order to strengthen its economy,while the USA aims to destroy the British economy bastion and expand its economy development by pulling Canada to its own side. In the context of the British and American contest,Canada,however,takes active measures to struggle for its own benefits.
