摘　　要：世界铜资源丰富，主要集中在南北美洲和西太平洋地区，由于近年铜资源勘探开发投资的相对增加，世界铜储量和产量逐年上升，铜的消费由于受全球经济的影响，铜价在１９９７年下半年一跌再跌，１９９８年总的趋势是消费萎缩，这势必影响到世界铜的生产和消费．目前世界铜矿企业盈利逐渐减少，多数接近生产成本．预计今后几年内，铜价将趋于稳定．The resource of copper in the world is abundant,but it mainly centers on South and North America and the West Pacific region.In recent years,the investment of exploitation and development of copper in the world has been increasing year and year.Because the expenditure of copper was influenced by the global economy,the price of copper became lower and lower in the second the market for copper is shrinking and the profit of it of 1997.In 1998,the general trend of copper is the decreasing of expenditure,which would influence the production and expenditure of copper sing of the world.But at present half approaches the cost of production.In conclusion,the price of copper will be steady in the coming years.
