摘　　要：Being the lightest radioactive nuclide that decays by EC with a half-life of about 53 d,7Be is a good candidate for studying the perturbation of nuclear decay rates.The nucleus 7Be decays to the firstBeing the lightest radioactive nuclide that decays by EC with a half-life of about 53 d, ^7Be is a good candidate for studying the perturbation of nuclear decay rates. The nucleus ^7Be decays to the first excited state of ^7Li by an EC process with a branching ratio of about 10.5%, which is followed by a 478 keV gamma ray emission to the ground state from the first excited state of ^7Li.
