Focusability of KrF Gas Amplified Ultraviolet ps Laser Pulse

摘  要:Ultra high intensity laser output is the ultimate goal of advanced laser technology.With the development of laser technology,the laser pulses become shorter,and the target power intensityUltra high intensity laser output is the ultimate goal of advanced laser technology. With the development of laser technology, the laser pulses become shorter, and the target power intensity becomes higher. But most of the world ultra high intensity laser system based on solid gain medium and infrared wavelength. Ultraviolet ps laser pulse has advantages of less nonlinear effect and easier to get a clean signal on the target. But the focusability of UV ps laser pulse is hard to reach the diffraction limit. Three factors which affect the focusability of UV ps laser pulse have been discussed.
