This method combines the simple magnetic separation techniques with high selective ion extractant, and it will be a simple, low-cost, effective process for separation of radionuclides from contaminated water with almost no production of waste streams. In this work, the preparation of magnetic particles (ADB18C6/PMA-Fe3O4 microspheres) has been studied systematically.
