摘　　要：双语是一种能力,符号转换是表现,但是通晓双语的表现和符号转换有质的差别。符号转换的产生有内外诸多因素。一个族群或一个社区呈现双语能力和符号转换言语行为的现象,与该民族或社区生活的语言环境、所掌握的第一语言和主流语言的不同、该民族或社区所处的地理位置、个人所从事的职业、主流媒体的用语以及人们对第二种或第三种语言的态度等因素密切相关。The Bilingualism is one kind of capacity and the Codeswitching is the performance.But the command of bilingual performance is quite different from the codeswitching in nature.The existing of codeswitching has internal and external factors.Why there is bilingual and codeswitching behavior existing in an ethic group or community？ It is closely related to the language environment of the ethic group or community,the difference of their first or mainstream language,their geographical location,the individual＇s occupation,the language used by the mainstream media and people＇s attitude to the second or third language.
