摘　　要：论文主要研究了基于宽带校园网的视频监控系统，通过利用现有的大学校园网络，借助网络远程监控，实现对校园关键场所进行监控。文中，首先介绍了视频监控技术的发展历程；其次，阐述了基于流媒体的校园视频监控系统的总体设计思想：系统的需求分析、系统的总体结构、模块的划分及其功能；最后，对监控系统的服务器端与客户端进行了设计。实际应用表明，系统能通过校园网对实验室、教学楼、学生公寓等实现有效地监控。Major research paper based on the campus network of broadband video surveillance system, through the use of the existing cam- pus network, with network remote control, to achieve the key places on campus to monitor. Thesis, first introduced the development pro- cess of video surveillance technology; secondly, describes the campus-based streaming video surveillance system＇s overall design： the system requirements analysis, system structure, module division and its function; Finally, monitoring server system has been designed with the client. The application shows that the system through the campus network of laboratories, academic buildings, student housing, etc. to achieve effective monitoring.
