摘　　要：目前使用浏览器作为应用平台这一开发模式正越来越被接受。使用html／css作为表现层，JavaScript语言作为逻辑层已经成为了一种新的编程模式。比较著名的应用有PalmWebOS、GMail、GoogleWave以及即将推出的ChromeOS等。但是Javascript作为一种脚本语言有其先天的局限性，扩展JavaScript引擎可以使基于浏览器的应用的功能更加丰富。CAR作为一种二进制构件技术，可以在运行时动态加栽、反射。利用CAR的这些特性，可以实现对浏览器的JavaScript引擎的本地化扩展，大大提高JavaScript的运行效率与能力。Nowadays web browser is becoming more acceptable as an application platform. It becomes a new programming pattern that using html/css as the representation and using JavaScript to control the logic. The famous applications include Palm WebOS, Gmail, Google Wave and Chrome OS which is coming soon. However, JavaScript is limitary naturaUy as a script language and we can make the applications based on browser more powerful by extending the JavaScript engine. As a binary component technique, CAR can be loaded and reflected dynamically. We can use these characteristics to extend the JavaScript engine, which can improve the efllciency and ability of JavaScript.
