摘　　要：传统语法对英语存现句只是一种规定性的、静态的描写,侧重于英语教学。而认知语言学则把语法现象看成是人类认知方式在语言当中的体现。象似性、原型理论和语法化的观点对英语存现句的分析体现了语言与人类思维的互动关系。Traditional grammar provides a prescriptive and static description of English existential sentence which mainly serves grammar teaching.While cognitive linguistics proposes that grammatical rules are representations of think of human beings,which is thoroughly demonstrated in the analysis of English existential sentence by applying theories of iconicity,prototype and grammaticalization.
