摘　　要：彭树智教授的学术思想及教育贡献源于他对人生境界的深刻觉解和坚实践履,基于他多年来研究范围的不断扩展和理论探索的持续深入。彭树智教授进行了一些教育、教学改革的探索与实践,在西北大学主持创建了全国第一所文博学院,建立了中东南亚博士学科授权点和博士后流动站,并把西北大学中东研究所建设成为中国中东研究最大的人才培养基地,而且在大学历史教材建设和博士生培养方面也具有独到的见解和丰硕的成果。从学术群体、学术思想和学术传承上看,西北大学的中东研究客观上已经形成独特的学派特色。Professor PENG Shuzhi acquired his important scholastic attainment,thanks to his outlook on life and active practice on the basis of his research extension and academic exploration.As the History Department head of Northwest University,he made rapid progress in transformation of education and founded the first college of historical relics and museology in the country,made Middle East Institute into the biggest base of training persons engaged in Middle East research.He also has some special understanding on compiling university teaching materials and training doctoral graduate student,and attained plentiful and substantial productions on the base of academic colony,academic thought,and academic inheritance,the Middle East Institute in Northwest university has formed a series of scholastic characteristics.
