摘　　要：During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, Chinas agri-processing indus- try has maintained an annual average growth rate of over 20 percent, much higher than the estimated 12 percent; the ratio between the agri-processing output value and the agricultural output value has reached 1.5：1; and the national total output value of this industry is estimated to exceed RMB 10 trillion in 2010, an increase by 2.5 folds over 2005, the last year of the 10th Five- Year Plan period, displaying a sound and rapid growth momentum.
