摘  要:赤泥是从铝土矿中提取氧化铝后的强碱性固体废渣。探索赤泥在阻燃材料中的应用对于综合治理赤泥对环境造成的危害有着重要的意义。本文采用氧指数、垂直燃烧设备研究了赤泥与磷及锌系阻燃剂、马来酸酐接枝聚乙烯复配阻燃聚乙烯的协同阻燃作用;采用光学分析、热失重分析方法研究了赤泥的元素组成及阻燃聚乙烯的热分解行为;采用拉伸设备研究了阻燃聚乙烯的力学性能。研究表明,添加60 wt%赤泥复配阻燃剂的聚乙烯,其氧指数达到30%以上,UL94为V-0级、力学性能得到显著改善;接枝聚乙烯提高了赤泥复配阻燃聚乙烯的残炭量。赤泥复配阻燃剂的原料成本低于现有氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁阻燃体系,是一类有应用前景的环保型无机阻燃剂。The red mud is a kind of waste residue during the production aluminum oxide from aluminosilicate.It is important that the red mud in the application of flame retardant materials was investigated to obtain one of the effective ways of speeding up treatment of red mud against the environment.The synergistic flame retardant effects between red mud and phosphorus,zinc containing flame retardant filler and maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene(g-PE) in PE were evaluated by oxygen index and UL 94 test.The surface elemental composition of Bayer Process red mud and thermal stability of flame retardant PE were tested by spectroscopy analysis and thermogravimetric analysis.The results show that the oxygen index of PE filled with 60 wt% of the red mud mixed with red phosphorus,zinc borate and g-PE can be increased to about 30%;UL 94 rating can be reached V-0;its mechanical performance has been remarkably improved.Addition of g-PE accelerated char yield of flame retardant PE composite,improved the flame retardancy.Red mud mixed flame retardant filler could be a kind of friendly environmentally flame retardant agent in the future.
