摘　　要：巴赫金是20世纪世界上最重要的思想家和符号学家之一。深入研究后不难发现,在巴赫金的学术思想中有一个始终的线索就是他对符号性质和对话理论的关注。就前者而言,符号的物质性、历史性、社会性、意识性、可解码性、话语性、元语言性等一系列性质具有重要的本体论意义,是人文科学研究的基础;就后者而言,主体间性、复调理论、狂欢化理论构成了对话思想的精髓,推崇着一种积极的、崇尚个性的、注重平等参与的人文精神。Bakhtin is one of the most important 20th century thinkers and semioticians in the world.He is a well established scholar.The whole world was shocked in terms of humanism by both his academic discoveries and thinking.After an in-depth study,one discovers that the nature of symbols and dialogism have always been Bakhtin＇s concern in his academic research.As to the former,a series of its nature shows ontological importance,and is the basis to the study of humanities：symbols are materialistic,historical,and social;they are also conscious,decodable,of discourse and of metalanguage.As to the latter,inter-subjectivity,polyphony theory and the carnival theory constitute the essence of dialogism,advocating for the humanism of initiative,individualism and equal opportunities.
