摘　　要：俄罗斯当代作家佩列文的《"百事"一代》是一部紧密联系时代的后现代主义风格小说,其内容与形式尽显苏联解体前后俄罗斯人思想与精神世界的迷茫、失落与探索。本文以小说中出现的主人公的姓名、巴比伦塔和三十只鸟等情节为契机,探讨主人公行为和身份的谜团与实质,揭示后现代主义文字游戏背后隐藏的寻找民族文化身份和第三条出路的深层涵义。Victor Pelevin is a contemporary Russian writer and his Generation 'П' is a postmodern novel mainly dealing with the issue of the Russian people's perplexity,loss and search of their thoughts and spiritual world after the disintegration of the Soviet Union.Based on the analysis of the name of the protagonist,the tower of Babel as well as the thirty birds etc,this paper challenges the behavior and identity of the protagonist by revealing that behind the postmodern language game there is the implication of seeking for the nation's cultural identity and the third way out.
