摘　　要：堂吉诃德的死是以国王为首的贵族和教会的封建势力造成的,神甫是这种封建势力的形象代言人。神甫从对堂吉诃德焚书的精神摧毁到限制人身自由和出游时屡遭阻截的肉体迫害导致了他的死。堂吉诃德临终前的沮丧反映了封建势力的强大和个人力量的渺小。他的遗嘱是对人文精神的背离。This paper proposes that the death of Don Quixote is made by the aristocracy and church forces with the King as their head and the priest as spokesman.He was pushed to death by the priest who burned the books to destroy Don Quixote's spirit and blocked his excursions to persecute him physically.Don Quixote feels dismay when dying,which shows the power of the feudal forces and the very smallness of the individual.Don Quixote's dying words goes against the humanist spirit.
