摘　　要：介绍了一种传统局域网接入异步转移模式（ＡＴＭ）网中广泛使用的技术——局域网仿真（ＬＡＮＥ），从ＬＡＮＥ的基本思想、ＬＡＮＥ１．０和ＬＡＮＥ２．０三个方面进行了论述。说明ＬＡＮＥ既可以保护现有局域网的资源，又能享受ＡＴＭ的高带宽优势，是一种具有生命力的技术。It introduces a widely used technique named local area network emulation (LANE) which accesses the traditional local area network into ATM network, from three aspects including the basic idea of LANE, LANE 1.0 and LANE 2.0. It shows that LANE not only safeguards the current local area network resources, but also brings the advantage of ATM broad bandwidth, and LANE is a technique full of vitality.
