Fracture-pore groundwater wells in red sandstone and mudstone are built to help the people in hilly regions to solve the issue of drinking water. The implementation period of this project is short, with a long-term of operation, a wide scope and complex and diverse information. For a long-term management and monitoring of the wells, this paper builds a fracture-pore groundwater well in red sandstone and mudstone database, designs and develops a Chengdu fracture-pore groundwater well in red sandstone and mudstone monitoring and management information systems, based on B/S model, GeoMedia WebMap as the WebGIS platform, with Chengdu-based geographic database as the basis and relying on Bureau of Land and Resources private network. The system realizes dynamic updating, track management, file query, statistical analysis and other functions of the fracture-pore groundwater well in red sandstone and mudstone information, achieving the linkage between city, county (district, city) and township, and providing references for management and decision-making of the fracture-pore groundwater well in red sandstone and mudstone.
