摘　　要：本文以美国哲学家乔治.桑塔亚纳的诗歌观点作为观照,通过对威廉.华兹华斯的《丁登寺旁》一诗进行文本细读,从而分析以华兹华斯为代表的英国浪漫主义诗人如何通过诗歌重新赋予对象经验方面的性质,并且想象性地把它们建立起来。正因为这样一种对经验世界的想象性重构,在英国浪漫主义者那里诗歌被当成是连接有限与无限的中介,并且作为代替了基督教上帝的一种救赎。In the light of the Spanish-American philosopher George Santayana＇s view on poetry,the study conducts a close reading of Wordsworth＇s poem ＇Tintern Abbey＇ to analyze how the English Romantics represented by him restored the empirical properties,particularly individual experience of the objective world and how the empirical nature of objects was rebuilt imaginatively in his verses.Such an imaginative re-construction of a world of experience makes poetry the agency to bring together the finite and infinite,and substitutes God or other interior shelter for English Romantics.
