摘　　要：莫里森的小说中,黑人社区是具有村落性质的集体,是影响人物命运的显著因素。社区群体既支持又限制其成员个性的发展。在黑人群体的凝聚力和排斥力的共同作用下,一些黑人个体人物与社区群体相脱离。通过浅析这些个体人物,揭示了莫里森小说中社区群体和个体的关系。Black community in Toni Morrison＇s works has a special village quality,which is an evident factor for characters＇ destiny.Black community supports and at the same time puts limits on the development of individuals.Under the simultaneous forces of attraction and repulsion that the community exerts on it＇s members,some individuals dirft apart from black community.Several types of individual are discussed here to illustrate the relationship between the community group and the individuals.
