摘　　要：图书馆形态发展的内在原因和历史进程;"闭锁"是古代图书馆适应封建专制社会要求的形态特性,对社会开放是近代图书馆顺应时代前进步伐的核心表现,高科技因素成为现代图书馆形态确立的主要构件;新的图书馆形态理论及未来发展趋向。This paper puts forward the internal reasons and historical course of development in library’s formations. It illustrates that 'to seal library itself' was the main feature of ancient library formation for suiting the needs of feudal autocracy,and opening to the society is the core manifestation of modern library for fitting the time advanced steps. This paper also explains that the high technological factors have become the main components in modern library formation. Finally,it discusses the new theory and its future development tendency in the new library formation.
