摘　　要：[目的]了解广东省城市和农村公共厕所卫生与设施状况,发现存在的主要问题,为《公共厕所卫生标准》的修订提供依据。[方法]2009年7月,在梅州市采用现场询问和入厕调查相结合的方法对100个公共厕所进行调查。[结果]调查100个公厕,城市水冲式占82.00%,农村三格式占56.00%;给水方式为自来水的占97.00%;城市点与农村点公厕室内地面平均面积分别为60.59 m2、33.46 m2,蹲位数分别为13.26、7.16个;公厕内便器材质为陶瓷的占93.00%,地面为瓷砖的占91.00%;自然通风的占58.00%;城市点公厕卫生和管理状况明显优于农村点公厕;公厕的防滑设施、蹲位面积及数量设置比较合理。[结论]广东省公共厕所整体条件尚可,但还存在一定的问题,尤其是农村公厕的卫生和管理水平欠缺,政府应加大公厕的经费投入。[Objective] To analyze facility and sanitary status of public latrines in urban and rural areas of Guangdong province,find the main problems,in order to provide evidence for revising＂The Sanitary Standards of Public Latrine＂.[Methods]In July 2009,a field inquiry and survey was conducted in 100 public latrines in Meizhou city of Guangdong province.[Results]82.00% of public latrines in urban areas in Guangdong province were cleaned by water,and 56.00% of them in rural areas were ＂three-grille mode＂septic tanks.97.00% of public latrines were used water from water supply system.The average area and the amount of squatting position of each urban public latrine was respectively 60.59 m2 and 13.26,which were much higher than that in rural public latrine（33.46 m2 and 7.16）.Most urinals were made of ceramics（93.00%）,and most ground were covered with ceramic bricks（91.00%）.The natural ventilation was adopted in 58.00% of latrines.Sanitary and management condition in urban latrines was better than that in rural ones.The slipping-proof facility,area and amount of squatting position in public latrines were satisfied by people.[Conclusion]The total status in public latrine in Guangdong province is good,but problems still exist,especially in sanitary and management condition in rural area.Government should increase investment to improve the public latrines condition.
