The Effect of Osmoconditioning with PEG on the Vigor of Balsampear (Momordica charantia L.) Seeds and Peroxidation of Cell Membrance Lipids

摘  要:15%~35%PEG能提高苦瓜种子活力,但以25%PEG渗调效果最好,经25%PEG渗调4小时,发芽率、生长势和活力指数分别由对照的62.5、3.05和1.95提高到90.6、7.88和7.15。实验表明,PEG可明显提高苦瓜种子SOD和CAT的活性,并能抑制LOX的活性。经25%PEG处理后SOD和CAT的活性分别由对照的620、7,2提高到111.8和11.4,LOX活性由1.27降低到0.95。PEG渗调对恢复种子膜的完整性是明显的,25%PEG处理后,电导率由对照的143.5下降到79.4。The vigor of balsampear seeds could be raised by osmoconditioning with 15 % - 35 % concentration PEG, and the effect of 25% PEG was best. After soaking for 4 hours in 25% PEG solution, germination percentage, germination index and vigor index were in creased from 62. 5,5. 27, 1. 95 to 90. 6, 7. 3 and 7. 15 respectively. The result showed the activities of SOD and CAT were increased by osmoconditioning with PEG, and the activity of LOX was declined. After osmoconditioning with 25% PEG, the permeability of ecll membrance was improved and electral conductivity of the solution decreased.
