摘　　要：China’s space remote sensing applications mainly relied on foreign satellite data in the early stage. The reform and opening policy implemented by theChina＇s space remote sensing applications mainly relied on foreign satellite data in the early stage. The reform and opening policy implemented by the Chinese Government 30 years ago has brought fundamental changes to China＇s space remote sensing. In 1979 the then Chinese Vice Premier Deng Xiaoping visited the United States and signed an agreement with the then US President Carter. in which it was decided to introduce the technical system of the U.S. land satellite ground station to China.
