移民促进国际贸易的网络效应分析——基于澳大利亚的历史数据

摘　　要：文章利用1981年到1996年澳大利亚与162个国家和地区的双边贸易数据、在国外出生的41个国家和地区在澳的移民存量数据,运用引力模型和面板数据的计量方法分别对移民促进国际贸易发展的网络效应进行实证检验,研究结果显示澳大利亚外来移民对贸易发展的网络效应并不显著。This paper uses the bilateral trade data between Australia and 162 countries or regions as well as the data of Australian abroad-born immigrants stock in 41 countries or regions from 1981 to 1996,to investigate the network effect of immigrants on trade-creating roles based on gravity equation.It also employs the econometric techniques of cross-section data and panel data to test trade-creating effects and robustness.The research finds that immigrants in Australia almost have no significant effects on promoting international trade.
