摘　　要：在当代欧美殖民小说中,殖民模仿出现逆转现象:不是被殖民者模仿殖民者,而是殖民者模仿被殖民者的行为方式。模仿者不是以统治者的眼光,而是怀着审美的同情审视殖民地的自然、艺术和生活,理解和接受土著人的行为和思维方式。殖民模仿的逆转实现了模仿者的新生,重估了殖民地的文化价值,反思了西方的殖民政治。这种叙事模式开辟了殖民者与被殖民者关系的另一条道路,丰富了殖民小说的内容,为人们重新认识殖民历史,甚至修订已有的殖民主义理论提供了新的思路和契机。In contemporary European and American colonial novels emerges the twist of colonial imitation. What they describe is not the imitation of the colonizers by the colonized but that of colonized by the colonizers. With their aesthetic sympathy, the imitators admire and imitate the natives＇ ways of behavior and thinking. The twist of the colonial imitation brings about the resurrection of the imitators, reestimates the native cultures and reflects on colonialism. Such narration establishes another pattern of the colonizer - colonized relationship, enriches the colonial fiction and offers new possibilities for deeper understanding of colonial history and even further development of the colonial theory.
