摘　　要：针对目前一些关于纸质工具书过时的言论和行为,在数据支撑的基础上,提出纸质工具书并没有过时,图书馆必须重新认识纸质工具书的优势并大力开发其潜在价值;而高校文献检索课程也须重拾纸质工具书利用的教学内容,使更多的读者学会利用纸质工具书。View of the current words and behavior about traditional reference books out-of-date,supported by the survey data,the article is presented that traditional reference books are not out of date,and libraries need to re-recognize the advantages of traditional reference books and take great efforts to develop their potential value;Document retrieval course in universities also needs to regain the teaching the use of traditional reference books,so that more readers can learn to use traditional reference books.
