微波辐照对PP/纳米TiO_2复合材料拉伸行为的影响

摘  要:首先采用傅里叶红外光谱仪(FT-IR)表征微波辐照前后PP/纳米TiO2母粒的表面特征,然后经二次熔融挤出制备了微波辐照PP/纳米TiO2复合材料。通过力学性能测试、拉伸曲线分析和SEM照片观测,对微波辐照前后PP/纳米TiO2复合材料的拉伸过程和断裂机理进行了研究。结果表明:微波辐照后复合材料的冲击韧性、抗拉强度和弯曲模量基本保持,但断裂伸长率比辐照前的提高了100%,拉伸曲线的位移由18 mm变为36 mm;微波辐照还使复合材料由脆断变成韧断,主要是聚丙烯基体塑性的增加和界面相的增厚避免了团聚体的形成。The surface-features of PP/nano-TiO2 master batch before and after microwave irradiation were investigated by FT-IR,and then PP/nano-TiO2 composites were prepared through secondary melt extrusion. The tensile procedure and fracture mechanism of PP/nano-TiO2 composites before and after microwave irradiation were studied by mechanical properties, tensile curves and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results showed that impact strength, tensile strength and flexural modulus of PP/nano-TiO2 composites was remained, but elongation at break increased by 100 % and displacement changed from 18 mm to 36 mm before and after microwave irradiation. Their fracture modes also varied from brittle fracture to tough fracture by microwave irradiation, because there were no aggregates due to the improved plasticity of PP matrix and the increased thickness of interphase after microwave irradiation.
