摘　　要：介绍了新日铁公司的研发体系、研发方向、研发投入和近20年的重点研发项目，同时着重介绍了重点研发项目中的三项内容：新一代控制冷却工艺“CLC-μ”、47kg级船用中厚板和原油罐用中厚板，指出新日铁的研发关键在于自主创新。This paper is introduced R ＆ D system, direction, investment and the major R ＆ D projects of 20 years in Nippon Steel Corporation. Three projects introduced in them are the new generation of controlled cooling technology ＂CLC- μ＂, medium plate for 47kg-class shipbuilding and medium plate for the original tank at the same time. It is pointed that the key of R ＆ D in Nippon Steel is independent innovation.
