摘　　要：从图书馆绩效评估指标、公共图书馆的行政评估、图书馆服务质量评估、其他学科在图书馆绩效评估中的应用、图书馆绩效评估的综合性研究等五个方面对日本图书馆绩效评估的理论研究进行了概述,介绍并分析了日本公共图书馆绩效评估的评估主体、评估方法、评估指标体系及存在的问题,指出了日本公共图书馆绩效评估对我国公共图书馆评估的启示。From the library performance evaluation indicators, administrative evaluation of public library, the library service quality evaluation, other subjects in the application of library evaluation and the library performance evaluation of comprehensive research five aspects of performance evaluation theory are reviewed, the paper introduces and analyses the performance evaluation, evaluation methods, the evaluation indica- tors system and the existing problems of Japanese public library evaluation, pointed out references for the practice of performance assessment of public libraries in China.
