摘　　要：为了减少煤矿安全监视视频数据存储量，文章提出了两种措施来进行视频数据压缩，这将大大提高视频的压缩比。另外文章研究了基于内容的煤矿安全监视视频数据库的数据模型以及视频基于内容的检索与浏览的方法，提出了一个基于内容检索的煤矿安全监视视频数据库的系统结构。In order to decrease the storage of the safety monitoring video data in coal mine,this paper presents two methods of video compression,which will greatly improve the compression radio of the videos. We also research the data model Of the the safety monitoring Video Database and the method Of content--based retrivaland browsing for video .Finally, this paper gives a system architecture Of the coal mine safety monitoring content-based Video Database.
