摘　　要：使用溶胶凝胶法进行粉末涂层和热压烧结后制得一种新型的涂层刀具材料。这种刀具材料的耐磨性与陶瓷材料相近，并具有较高的强度和韧性，在切削高硬度材料时表现出良好的性能。A novel type of coated cutting toolmaterial sintered with coated powders by Sol Gel process has been developed successfully. This material possesses high strength and toughness,its wear resistance being similar to that of ceramics. As a result, these tools show good performance in cutting high hardness materials.
