摘　　要：种次号是文献编目的重要内容。分配授权影印西文图书种次号工作比分配普通图书种次号工作更为复杂,编目人员必须细致分析,准确判断新书、重书和同种书。同种书的认定与取号既要与原版书比照,又要考虑内部交流资料,还要照顾到不同出版社的出版物等,合理选取种次号,最大限度地发挥其作用。The title number is an important content of catalogue.The work of distributing the title number of the authorized photomechanical printing books in western languages is more complex than ordinary books.Catalogers should analyze these books carefully and confirm whether they are new books,duplicate books and the same kind of books.It is necessary to compare with the original book,consider internal communication materials and publications of different presses,and so on,so as to select the title number rationally and exert its functions.
